Hi, I am Sage Weezie. I am a critical care Nurse Manager and I have been in nursing for 15 years. Giving back to the community has always been a passion for me. This stems from my Caribbean background where we practice “It takes a village”.
My grant writing journey began in college where I won the top award for a grant writing proposal for a nonprofit preschool in an underserved community. My love for grant writing was rekindled when I was coached by RPX Whispering Phoenix who landed over $4 million in grants in 1 year.
My mission is to help people that look like us and small business owners get access to and utilize these funds to grow their businesses and do what they love. I am driven by the fact that each year millions of dollars in grants go unused. It is important to note that grants don’t have to be paid back once they are used for the purpose for which you were awarded.
